Complete Guide to Reconditioning



NPC: Smith

This is one of the most misunderstood parts of the crafting system. Reconditioning items requires the same amount of resources as crafting a new item however it presents you with 2 options. The first being the exact item you reconditioned with restored durability. The second being a randomly generated new version of the item which could be better or worse. This item can increase in grade, have different stats, or even raise your leadership limit. 

It's not guaranteed to be an improvement, but this way you either keep the weapon you have with full durability or you take the new version offered.  Once your item goes legendary, you can recondition them to keep them legendary… forever. If you can get a Legendary item from a Rare schematic you are in a good position to have success in battle on an affordable budget.
