How to Earn Silver in Conqueror's Blade

By: Foghladha

Silver is one of the most sought-after resources in Conqueror's Blade. It is used for purchasing items on the Trading Post, unit kits from the Weapon Smuggler, Storage and Supply Dump expansion items from the Smuggler, Applying Skins from your Wardrobe to Armor pieces, moving your camp to a new location, purchasing Mercenary Units, and for crafting materials.

Earning it seems very difficult early on, before you have access to the Trading Post. This guide aims to give you a clear picture of how to earn Silver quickly and effectively.

Methods for Earning Silver

Selling Treasures on the Market

Collecting Treasures

Treasures are epic exotics found in gathering nodes around the world. You can increase your chance of finding one by increasing your Technology Tree.

Where to find them:

  • Wood Nodes: Amber

  • Cloth Nodes: Silk

  • Iron Nodes: Garnet

  • Copper Nodes: Turquoise

  • Stone Nodes: Moonstone

  • Hide Nodes: Musk

Using Treasures

One question probably springing to mind is how these are used and why a player would need them?

There are a few things you can do with these.

Donate them to the Fame Quartermaster (1,000 Fame)

The primary thing most people are using these for is donating them to the Quartermaster to earn Fame quickly. These give 1,000 points of donation credit, which can be quite a significant boost to someone's weekly fame growth.

List them on the Market (v) (8,000+ Silver)

Since the addition of the Quartermasters, players have been using these to speed their seasonal donation credit to the max. These typically will sell mid to late season for between 8,000 and 12,000 Silver.

Sell them to the Apothecary (1,000 Silver)

They can be sold by placing them in your wagon and traveling over to your local Apothecary for 1,000 Silver each. By the time I reached level 550, I was sitting on quite a few of them, which turned into a nice little nest egg of silver. If you're just starting out and desperately need silver, this is a great way to get some fast.

Making Mounds of Silver on the Market

Collecting unbound Epic Siege Weapons (Purple) is one of the fastest ways to earn some quick silver. An Epic War Rocket will typically sell for between 40,000 and 60,000 silver. An Epic Siege Ballista between 20,000 and 40,000. These are big-money devices; they can't be crafted, they can only be collected via RNG.

As the season enters phase 3, normally epic sieges become a hot commodity as endgame houses need them to complete top-tier Fief Quests to build their prestige for ruling house in the capital. These Siege-Based In Service of the Realm quests are the highest resource-earning quests to build fiefs and, as such creates a high-demand pocket around phase 3 and 4 of each season.

If you are able to craft Epic Siege, this is a hot market to build and flip siege weapons, and you can build your silver vault quickly.

Territory Wars

Territory Wars takes place every Tuesday and Saturday. During Territory Wars, a common practice is to go vault raiding. Horse nodes in particular have massive treasure troves by Saturday, and if your band of warriors manages to capture a fief, the people who fought in the battle divide 70% of the Treasury based on merit within the battle. The highest-scoring player gets the largest payout, and it trickles down from there.

If a house holds a fief through the end of the week, the profits are sent out to its entire membership.

Membership Reward Calculator

  • Cadets = Total House Income / 238

  • Knights = Cadets * 2

  • Nobles = Cadets * 3

  • Treasurers = Cadets * 4

  • Marshals= Cadets * 4

  • Seneschals= Cadets * 4

  • Liege = Cadets * 5

Primary Rewards By Fief Type

  • Towns & Forts = Siege & Unit Kits

  • Villages = Silver

Drill Wars

The final Tuesday before the end of the season and the first Saturday after the season begins typically are Drill Wars. These are practice wars where each fief is assigned a random value of silver in its treasury. These battles last an hour and a half and are one of the best sources of silver in the game. There are 2 ways to secure silver in this mode.

Defensively

Contrary to popular belief, there is value to defending during Drill Wars. At the end of the war, whatever value is in the Treasury gets divided the same way weekly payouts do, and rewards the entire house.

Drill Wars coffers are often inflated well above typical treasuries, so these payouts can be massive. While being offensive benefits the best fighters in the house, the defensive reward all members of the house regardless of their ability to get the top score in the fight.

Offensively

When capturing a fief, 30% of the total drill war coffee gets distributed to the fighters in the battle based on their rank on the leaderboard. Those who score the most get the most.

While this is great for small groups of friends looking for some quick cash, it often leaves new players left out and feeling slighted as the top-tier players brag about big earnings, and the new players get scraps.

I have found that defensive victories are much nicer for the community as a whole, giving everyone a chance to get some pretty decent gains rather than a handful of your best players taking all the loot. But that is entirely up to you and the way you like to play.

Weekly Quest Rewards

Coming Soon

Fief Quests

Not all Fief Quests are the same. Fief Quests labeled "In Service of the Realm" will drop Rare House Gifts and Epic House Gifts. Inside these chests, you have a chance to get bags of silver worth between 500 and 5,000 silver. In addtiion Epic House Gifts have a chance to drop Treasures, which can sell for between 8,000 and 12,000 silver.

Some 3-star "Make a Donation" quests will also provide you with an Epic Mercenary Gift, which can reward you with a Leather Pouch of Silver. However, typically "Make a Donation" quests reward you with "Rare Mercenary Gift" which do not have Silver in the loot table.

Open World Sites

Throughout the open world, you will see glowing sites known as Abandoned Cart, Abandoned Crates, Derelict Ruin, and occasionally seasonal-themed names. These are exclusive to you and spawn in random locations across the world every time you zone into the open world. These will reset every time you go into a fief and come out of one. Nobody else can loot them, so feel free to collect them all. They can occasionally contain silver or items you can sell for silver on the Market.

Secret Vaults (Silver Keys)

Silver Keys can be used to open "Locked Vaults" that appear at the end of various battles randomly. These vaults typically contain between 1,000 and 5,000 silver every time you open them.

Special Events

Every season there is an abundance of limited-time events. During those events, they tend to give away bags of silver, which will contain between 500 and 1000 silver. Sometimes it even exceeds this. Keep an eye on the calendar for the various events; you might just catch some silver coins in the process.
