Defensive Strategies

If you are defending the final, your one job is to keep bodies on that final capture point, preventing the other team from capturing it. If you're in a last-minute scramble and you find yourself in a 1v5 situation, you need to evade while standing in the final.

Stay mounted as long as you can, then use your cc skills to knock down hostile enemies while you put distance between you. Use Heal while they are knocked down or distracted. Your goal is to dance long enough for help to arrive.

While the likelihood of survival is slim, every second you persevere is a second closer to victory. When help arrives, engage the high CC classes first (Poleaxe, Dual Blades, Chain Dart, Spear & Shield), followed by the light and medium armour folks.

Contesting Supply Points

In Territory Wars, one of the most important and disruptive roles on the battlefield is being a supply point contester. This hero will be in heavy armor and constantly step on and off the supply point nearest the enemy respawn. They will mount and dismount, run in circles. Use their knockdowns to create distance and overall just pee in the enemy's pool.

The more attention they draw, the better their doing their job. If the enemy team sends 3+ to take them out, they are putting their team at a severe disadvantage. The longer they can keep that supply point out of play, the more likely you are to win. Without a resupply line, the only option for getting new units in the match is death and rotating in another player. There is no respawn in territory wars, so this is a huge force multiplier that often leads to mass casualty events.
