Leveling your Units
By: Foghladha
This part will save you from making the biggest mistake so many new players make and keep you playing the game past 500. That mistake is unfocused leveling.
Before we dive into how to level, let's outline the various types of Exp you will earn.
-
Unit Experience - this is the amount of experience your unit gains in a battle and is represented as a blue EXP.
-
Shared Unit Experience - this experience is represented by a purple EXP number and can be distributed to. Unit of your choice.
-
Bonus Experience - You can boost the XP you earn by using exp boosters acquired from the seasonal shop, imperial store, and supply token exchange. This is shown as the second column of EXP with the green up arrow.
-
Premium Experience - All three of the above gain an additional 30% bonus if you have a premium account. This will be represented as the 3rd column in the post-game battle summary, noted by the crown icon.
The Battles Ahead
Now this is where it gets interesting. When you start the game, you have 200 levels before you start playing 100%, humans. The first 50 you play mostly bots with the occasional human thrown in during busy times. Between 50 and 100, you typically face up to 5 humans. After 100, depending on how many people are playing, you can face up to 10 enemy players. At 200, you will be thrown into the deep end of the pool and be facing off with full stacks of endgame players. Grouping with higher-level players will also cause you to enter their tier of the battlefield.
Thus, you have 200 levels to get your barracks lined with units to help you thrive on the battlefield. For this, we want to secure critical units first. Level each to max level, master them, and most importantly, unlock seasonal units and weapons.
